We all have that one person who we look up to. We want to be just like them when we grow up but as we get older it may change depending on if our role models are superheros. If you don't have one then you may not know of it yet.
A role model, who you want to be like, be just as cool, an exact replica. Its our life goal to be like them, but we know we can't.
Whether it's a rockstar or superhero or actor we want to turn out like them because we have ambitions to become like them.

I know for a fact that I have a role model and she is grace personified which many people have said about her. She is an amazing dancer and yes of course she famous but not in hollywood but in bollywood she is considered that incredible legend young or old women want to be like. Her name is Madhuri Dixit and she is my favourite heroine in films. She's not just good with her character and on screen chemistry but she is an amazing human being, not like the snobby stuck up rich ones.

I love to dance, whether its at parties or for actual performances and I want to be famous too. she is my role model because she is who she is not what people expect her to be or want her to be, lets say she shows her true identity and is not afraid to and she doesn't care what people say about her.

What's your role model? And it doesn't have to be a famous celebrity for some people it's their parents, older siblings or cousins. Despite who it is, you want to walk in their shoes and follow tha same path.

Summer, is all the kids can think about when it comes to June. To break away from what they call "jail" aka school. And just chill for 2 months and have time to relax unless your going to summer school! :( But even after that there's still a month left to enough and soak up the sun.
Vacations, everyone's going places whether its a different country or just a different city. There are no teachers, no rules, no homework.. actually there's one rule HAVING FUN! I bet if summer was graded we'd all get an A+ .
When its time for summer it might be tuff for someone people leaving their friends for a whole two months! But for some summer just flies by and there already back gossiping about stuff.
My summer is going to be quite adventurous because I'm going to a new school for summer school SJAM so that I'll be a new experience and I'm going on a trip to some different places which will be even more sick and cool. That's my impression of an amazing summer, I hope to have except for the school part but hey I'll probably be meeting new people anyway. So whats your impression of a amazing

Wondrous ideas. Smart inventions. Creativity at its work has gotten society to where they are now, with all the technology and other necessities to help us in life.

The invention of the insulin was noticed from sugar in a dog urine and which had made the doctors notice the relationship between diabetes and the pancreas. This insulin has helped and will continue to support people dealing with diabetes.

The iPhone has come very far in the making from the first version to the iPhone 5, they've made thinner, longer, better magnification, better processors and even more stuff has been added. Plus it has been more entertaining for users. NO more BOREDOM!

The invention of the light bulb which has seriously developed a lot in the years. without this we would have light in our house or rooms or schools. Our lives would be dreadful because daylight doesn't last long in the winter,  so thank you Thomas Edison.

The telephone, allowing people to gossip without being in person. uhh YES! But its also allowing people to talk to people in far away countries and also gossiping there to. From the first telephone to now is a huge difference. Now we have cellphones and cordless home phones which lets us multi task.

Cars! Transporting people to where they need to be without walking. All the lazy people you should be thanking Mr. Karl Benz. But not only for lazy people, for travelers too.  Now this is one invention I've seen change a lot since the first car to the 1980s cars to now 2013 cars.

And lastly the invention of...........wait for it.......THE INTERNET! WOOO HOO! The tool that's either a touch of smartphone or clicks of a mouse.  The one thing with about anything you need to know just search it up. So much information who needs to spend the trip down to the library. Plus it keeps up with the latest news and has access to TV shows as well. Plus we can get it just about anywhere where wi-fi is . That's why we all look stupid trying to get reach signals and get bars on our phones/iPods etc.

There are so many other inventions that make  our everyday life better, these are just the ones off the top of my head. Inventions DEFINITELY FOR OUR BETTER.

Politics. As soon as that word is said people start to get competitive and complicated.
I, for one hate politics because one it's really complicated and stressful. My opinion no matter what the leader does, some people are always unhappy, there's no way to make everyone happy at once.

Like for our simulated country call Zugzwang in Civic mirror and we elections, debate, and campaigns. We basically have to a country within our class. Its hard work, because their are hard questions to answer for our debate especially when Kemp asks his questions. Then we have an election.

Honestly, if politics is this confusing in a simulated country, than I don't want to get involved in Canada's. We all can't be happy at once. From my experience we all get competitive when we talk about it.

We can all say that we can do a better job, but its actually not an easy job. You have to run a whole country, so I understand how that's a hard job really is. Trying to help everyone at once, when they all have different goals in life. At least its better than no one help the country at all.

Wow, everyone did an amazing job, and went above the expectations! Coming up with creative topics to talk about amazing. Very descriptive, and nice uses of personification. The stories that were developed and told in such ways which we could all find some relation maybe in ourselves or in others. Three poems that really stuck out to me were was Kim's: She, Nathans, and Nasir and Tyler's.
Kim's poem title she was very descriptive and told a story of a girl whose broken, lost all of what she had. Super interesting. The way it was presented with so much power in her voice, to emphasis the poem making it have a strong effect.
Nathan's poem is also very good because it gives a scenario  about a girl who gets blamed for her parents split up and his general idea was basically watch what you say because when you do, it effects that person more than it may seem. He added some personal feeling to it which made it more deep.
Finally the last poem I that really stuck out to me was Nasir and Tyler's their poem was very interesting with an action story. Well told, well written and great use of vocabulary all made it seem to somehow drag me in and want to listen for more.
All in all, everyone's poems were well done, passing the expectations I had. So lets just say they showed how it's done. GREAT JOB EVERYONE!!

In Zugzwang, we had elected our new PM and a new house of commons. And this year went by fast. But I had gotten food for my family, power for my house and had no deaths. YES!

Boy, did we have a lot of court cases, and I'm starting to realize how hard it is to actually run a country you have to actually focus on everyone's needs and providing for everyone which as I had seen very hard and confusing. Also I had witness what courts like. I'm guessing making connections is a huge part of this simulated country for students to get a feel of what the country does for its citizens.

At town hall because we had the new house of commons we had to discuss how it was going so far and its going pretty bad consider the PM's party had not voted for the dictatorship. Plus I don't think our current PM is doing a good job because it seems as if one of his party members are taking over and making all the laws more than the PM himself.

Looking forward for a better year and getting

Check your knowledge of being a Canadian citizen.
http://www.yourlibrary.ca/citizenship/

On this quiz I had done it three times each with different questions and some the same. My results were: trial 1 65%, trial 2 65%, and trial 3 70%. That's horrible, I'll admit I don't know anything beyond what I've been taught in History class. I know, I know that' s pretty bad. And that's why I had scored that low.

These questions could help us build on our knowledge of our Canadian ways, it could also open the door of curiosity. Wanting to learn more and build on that one thing.

This test is hugely of great value to immigrants wanting to come to Canada they can test their knowledge and learn more and make it more easy for them to get into Canada. Plus its better for Canadian citizens who don't know much...like me. When you get the answer wrong it'll show up at the when your done and tell you what is the right answer and then if you still don't understand theirs always the research

The video about how graduates aren't find jobs because of less work experience and competing with people of higher experience. But first of all how do they expect graduates having experience when they haven't even gotten a job?

What I got from this video is that jobs are getting harder to get without experience. The way to solve it is if you have hands on learning because it gives you a better way of learning and a better way for experience. But what I believe companies and employers don't understand is that they should hire new graduates because they have all that knowledge which is there waiting to be used, fresh new knowledge. If they hire people with more experience you could end up with old ideas and old knowledge, hiring new students gives companies opportunities to grow and expand their company, by making it more successful or efficient.

When students aren't finding jobs they go back to school, thinking that it would land them a better job, leading them to spend much more money and still maybe no job. It's all about the experience these days. But why stick with old experience getting the new experience workers can lead to bigger ideas and better development.

Your in cable of your own actions. You decide what you want to do. Your in control of you. No one can tell you what to do and what not to do. They can only advise you on to the right path. Everything belongs to you, your decisions, your choices what you make your life to be. But the only one to get you started is YOU.

Everyone always asks me about my future and what I planning on doing in life. And then I choke up and don't know what to say. To be honest I hate that question. But I also know that it is time for me to plan my future but I feel like I don't wanna grow up yet. But eventually I had decided on what to do as my career choice, I decided to do something that interested me and made me want to keep on learning more and more. That is something in the medical field. I found that I love learning about the human body and what and how it gets affected. But I actually don't know exactly what in the medical field.

So when someone asks you want you want to do later in life, tell them. Because either they can help you or advise you on the right path. Even if its not the best of jobs but your going to do something you enjoy and love. If later you find out that it's not the right choice then there's always a choice to get back out there and explore more options.

This blog post is not generalizing that any of the situations that have occurred are more important than the others. All of these crimes are equally important and we all have our separate opinions to express. This blog is just giving the effects of situations in different countries affecting lives everywhere.

Crimes around the world affecting not just the ones in the country. By crimes I mean all types of illegal act. I realize that these are occurring more often. I don't know if people are rebelling or trying to make a point, causing worries to people in other countries who have family there or just for fun.

I honestly can't imagine how these people lives are being affected, in foreign countries having to their home because of danger. Being injured because of these crimes. It's probably the most emotional thing. For example the World Trade Center complex being brought down by planes that have been hijacked killing street passers, passengers on the airplane, and workers in the World Trade Center. Lives lost, families without a member grieving and mourning.

Have you wanted to go back or to your country? But can't. because of the crimes in the area. I feel the same way. I've been wanting to go back to Guyana but my dad says unless the thefts and killings get controlled. I want to see the way they use to live and what they experienced and see my family who've I've never seen yet. But because of the crime rate you are held back. Its sucks to be honest.

One recent incident that happened is the Boston bombing, I was watching the news yesterday and saw the two innocent kids were hurt. And they hadn't caused anything they were waiting at the finish line of the race that was happening and in a moment one of them died and the other little girl lost a leg. Their mother having serious head injuries. Like why, injure a family who was just there at the wrong time. I had also see graphic images of innocent people blood splattered on the pavement, see all that it moves you to question why does this have to happened? Same with the other bombings and terror around the world. Innocent lives lost.

Isn't there a part of you that says you wish you could stop all this? I know there is in me.
Wishing to stop all hate and crime in the world. Because its not right and never will be. There are others ways to solve problems than just involving violence. And this goes to all people, good or bad.
